Day 1 - Belém · Soure · Barra Velha · Furo do Mata Fome
05:40 AM - Boarding a river transport (catamaran or speedboat) from hotels or residences in Belém to Soure. Vehicles will be waiting there for transfers to your selected accommodation, accompanied by a local guide/driver.
Afternoon: Visit to Barra Velha Beach, where you can take a leisurely stroll of approximately 1km alongside the shoreline to appreciate the mangroves, catch some fresh water crabs, and marvel at the stunning views across Marajó Bay.
Later Afternoon: Take a short journey down the Paracauari River toward Furo do Mata Fome; this offers fantastic opportunities to spot various wildlife species within their natural habitat, particularly birdlife like Scarlet Ibis, Herons, Cormorants, and Rabbits.
Day 2 - Soure · Salvaterra · Joanes
Morning: After enjoying breakfast depart early morning bound for the town of Salvaterra which holds claim to being the second biggest settlement found upon the Island due largely attributed to its busy port facilities located here called 'Porto dos Botes'.
Upon arriving explore the quaint village of Joanes before taking advantage of the chance to cool off during warmer months swimming amongst the inviting waters that line these shores. Afterwards we’ll head over to Fazenda Araruna farm complex situated nearby offering guests unique experiences involving Buffalo rides followed up afterwards with refreshments provided onsite.
Day 3 - Soure · Belém
Morning: Begin our final day exploring all major attractions throughout Soure itself starting first with visits around key landmarks inclusive viewing processings carried out locally concerning Tanned Animal Hide production specifically focusing onto processing raw materials sourced directly from native Water Buffalos inhabiting region surrounding area.
